Anime to Watch in 2015


It is not only the Japanese that love anime but every kind of nationality as well also loves watching it especially all the other Asians including us Singaporeans. We’ve seen our share of lovable series such as Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, One Piece, Cowboy Bebop, among others. The list of must-watch anime series keeps on increasing as 2015 has added a roster of pretty good shows to watch. Here are some of them:


  • Parasyte The Maxim

Popular as a manga in the late 80s to the early 90s, Parasyte explores the current world where deadly alien parasites infest the human body and looks to spread out throughout the populace.


  • Nanatsu no Taizai

Also known as The Seven Deadly Sins, this anime revolves around seven knights known, each representing a deadly sin, out to rescue the land from the treacherous holy knights who took power by assassinating the king.


  • Shirobako

This comedy drama is an anime that revolves around characters who make anime. It is a show ideal for young adults as it relates to them especially in times when they are struggling to breakthrough the real world.


  • Assassination Classroom

As an action comedy, the premise of this anime is that a class of students seeks to kill their teacher in the school year or else he’d have to destroy the world.


  • Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works

This anime revolves around a high school student who is somehow dragged into a magical tournament for a right to claim an artifact known as the Holy Grail. It is a perfect mix of action, thrill, adventure, and fantasy.


  • Charlotte

The story revolves around young adults who are born with special abilities. The fates of these young adults have intertwined when a girl, who also has similar abilities, suddenly appear. It’s a good anime for fantasy action lovers.


  • Prison School

An ecchi anime with a little bit of comedy and romance, Prison School features an all-girls academy that suddenly started to accept male students. Only a few made the cut and the story revolves around one young boy who managed to get into the academy.


  • Dragon Ball Super

You’d be crazy not to love Dragon Ball Z. You’d be even crazier if you wouldn’t watch this. This anime continues on from when Goku and friends defeated Majin Buu. This time, the god of destruction suddenly appears to challenge the fighters. This one is sure to bring some nostalgia along with the same comedy and action we all loved in DBZ.
